The Mulberry Community

Mulberry Tree fosters creativity and independence in each child. This allows the children to experience their community in a way that expands their grasp of diversity and kindness thus deepens their understanding of the world around them.

Community Experiences

NATURE WALKS

Nature walks are part of the curriculum and are taken often in all of the classrooms.

Children have an opportunity to venture into the community and explore nature around them.

PARK DAY

Every Friday, weather permitting, the preschool children walk to the local park and have lunch together.

Special activities are planned such as sports, bug catching, and reading under a tree.

LOCAL BUSINESSES

All classrooms visit local businesses to learn what is in their community and how places operate.

Visits can include a post office, car dealerships, restaurants, etc.

OUTREACH

Each week the children in our afterschool program visit a local retirement home to engage with the residents through conversation, board games, and special activities planned by the children. This instills in the children life lessons about the need to care and be compassionate towards others.

Community Resources

Mulberry Tree is currently open, serving children of essential workers.

Please contact the office if you need emergency enrollment information.
